Housing Comm – African American Home Ownership Opportunities

Housing subcommittee meeting focuses on increasing African American home ownership opportunities in and about Pasadena, CA.

There will be a number of affordable for-sale housing units coming on line in Pasadena and Glendale during 2019 and 2020.  In the past, less than 10% of the affordable units that came up for sale in Pasadena went to African American applicants.  The focus of this subcommittee is to increase the number of African American applicants who qualify and are awarded for-sale units to 50%.  A goal has not yet been set for Latino home ownership.
