Nominations to fill our Pasadena branch officers and At-Large members of the Executive Committee positions can now be submitted. The Candidates Consent Form must be completed and received no later than October 10, 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic our branch office is closed; therefore, completed forms, should be e-mailed to [email protected]. Please also send a copy of the document to [email protected] Nominating Committee secretary.
Requirements
In order to be nominated
- members in good standing as of April 1, 2020
- who live and/or work within the NAACP Pasadena branch’s jurisdiction
- must submit a completed NAACP Candidates Consent Form
- member can be nominated for only one officer or At-Large Executive Committee member position. Please refer to the list of available positions below.
Next Steps
Each nominee’s Consent Form will be verified to prove the candidate along with the three (3) members who submitted a signed NAACP Candidates Consent Form were current members as of September 15, 2020. The Nominating Committee will be available to interview members interested in being considered for office or membership on the Executive Committee. The Nominating Committee will give a report on October 15th at 6:30PM at the next Virtual General Membership meeting. All candidates will be given the link to join prior to that meeting. Election voting will be held on November 19th from 2:00PM to 6:00PM. Details for how to submit electronic or non-electronic ballots will be provided to each member at the October General Membership meeting.
